Shiori Inabi has had a hard time growing up. Possibly due to bad kids, her bad attitude, or something else? Regardless, highschool starts and now she has to deal with this new, loud group of people who want to call her friend.

After the first day ends, the only thing left is to walk home. Hikigaya walks Shiori home, finding it convenient since his walk is the same way, but that's just a coincidence, right? The next day, Haru encounters a strange boy when something happens...

Haru is put in a dire situation all for this classmate he doesn't even know. Will someone come to their aid? After that, Shiori has an encounter with some students who can only spell out trouble.

About a week after the start of her unorthodox highschool life, Shiori is forced to start really thinking about her feelings about all the things going on around her.

Shiori and Hikigaya find themselves in awkward position after awkward position all thanks to the fact that they are neighbors. They're going to have to adjust to this fact, or things will only keep happening against their wills.
