CH. 90 - A Summer Getaway!

 Suddenly, Shiori and Hikigaya are standing in front of a bus that pulls away, leaving them in summer wear with confused looks on their faces. Chizuru and Hisana jump with excitement as the others all pick up their bags and begin to follow them.

 “Main, look at that view.” Lucy says happily. Touma nods in agreement.

 “Make sure you apply loads of sunscreen, you ghost.” Mormo says to Suiyoubi from her bag. She smiles and nods, doing just that. Shiori and Hikigaya stand there dazed with their bags at their feet.

 “How did this happen so fast?..” Hikigaya asks, stunned.

 “How did they convince me to come?..” Shiori asks the same. Hikigaya shakes his head a bit before smiling at her and bumping her shoulder.

 “Hey, this might be kinda crazy, but it’s an adventure, right? Let’s make the most of it.” He says while picking up his bags and hers before walking off. Shiori looks surprised as she catches up.

 “You’re telling me. And you didn’t know your mom owned this place?” Shiori asks.

 “Not a bit. I guess she rents it out? First I’ve heard about it.” Hikigaya says.

 “Come on, guys! Let’s go!” Chizuru shouts as they rush down the dirt path towards a big fancy beach house. 

 “Woah! This place is huge!” Hisana shouts cartoonishly in the living room before rushing off into another room. The whole group follows in as Hikigaya pulls out a map of the house. 

 “Okay, so there’s four bedrooms, two of them being master bedrooms. I guess we can pair up, and the others can stay in the study?” Hikigaya says, looking at the map a little confused. Kitaro flops his bags down and himself onto the long end of the large L shaped couch.

 “Nuh uh. I’m taking this spot here. Easiest access to the TV and +Box.” Kitaro says.

 “There’s a +Box here?” Alice asks. Kitaro points at the entertainment cabinet below the wall mounted TV. “Huh, I guess there is.” Alice says.

 “I’ll take the study!” Suiyoubi raises her hand up happily before rushing off with Alice quickly following behind her.

 “Wait, I wanna pick my spot!” She says desperately as Suiyoubi giggles. Hikigaya sweats as he watches them go.

 “Okay.. I guess the study is taken.” he says.

 “I guess everyone knows their partners.” Lucy says with a smile while looking at Hisana taking a seat next to Kitaro. Chizuru nods happily before looking at Touma.

 “I guess that means we’ll be bunking again!” Chizuru says with a big smile. Touma is shocked for a moment before sweating and nervously looking away.

 “R-right..” he says shyly. Chizuru giggles before putting both her fists into the air.

 “This is gonna be so exciting! A beach house with plenty of fun places to go to, a summer festival coming up, and so much more! I can’t wait to make memories with you guys!” she says passionately as the others smile at her warmly. 

 As the sun begins to set, the group gets settled in for the first night of their trip, all of them changing into comfy clothes. Kitaro plays games on the console as usual, with Touma joining him as everyone else chats around the large table. Lucy digs around through the kitchen as the others talk.

 “So, what’re we gonna do on night one?” Chizuru asks.

 “I don’t know. Weren’t you the event planner?” Hikigaya says with a smirk.

 “That doesn’t mean I have every moment planned out. Just a few specific things.” Chizuru says, crossing her arms.

 “Specific like trying to convince us you’re so innocent and don’t want Touma to blow your back out specific or...” Sugawara teases as Chizuru blushes.

 “Hey!” Chizuru shouts softly, trying not to drag attention to herself as she gets flustered.

 “Welcome to our world.” Shiori says.

 “Yeah, but you guys are like the focus couple, so it’s okay.” Hisana says as Hikigaya and Shiori blush and shout at her.

 “We are not a couple!” they shout together as Hisana sits smugly at them.

 “Ahha! I knew it!” Lucy shouts from the kitchen. The group turns around and sees her at a small cabinet with open doors. She turns around with a mischievous smile on her face. “Look what I found~!” she says, lifting a bottle of alcohol. The group sweats.

 “Lucy... What’re you doing?” Chizuru asks nervously.

 “Where did you even get that?” Hikigaya asks as Lucy stares at the bottle, showing them the cabinet.

 “It was in here. I guess your mom likes to drink when she’s here, cause look at all this! Wine, sake, gin, vodka, this place is loaded!” Lucy says with a smile.

 “Alright! Now you’re talking my language!” Mormo shouts, rushing over to her.

 “You can drink?” Lucy asks Mormo.

 “Well, I have no idea if I can get drunk in this bear body, but considering I can eat just fine, might be worth a shot.” Mormo says as Suiyoubi grabs him, covering his mouth.

 “That’s super cool and all, but I’m gonna pass tonight.” Suiyoubi says nervously.

 “Yeahhh, maybe we’ll save it for another night?” Haru says with a sweat.

 “I’ll drink if you’re gonna. Not like the last time really affected me any- Oof!” Alice says casually before being grabbed by Ryuji and Hisana, sitting her down.

 “Alright, if you say so. Just know it’s here so if the vacation gets dull... I’m breaking out the big guns.” Lucy says with a smirk, putting it away. Chizuru and Sugawara sigh in relief.

 “So, full circle, what’re we doing?” Hikigaya asks. Alice perks up.

 “Ooh! I know! We could go out looking for bad guys or monsters and have Fullsky and Watchdog fight them off- blfft!” Alice begins when Chizuru suddenly grabs her lips, shutting her up. She smiles an angry smile as she leans close to her.

 “Alice... I love you, but you have got to stop saying it so openly...” Chizuru says intimidatingly. Alice sweats and nods.

 “Rwight... Sworry...” she says before being let go. Alice rubs her cheeks as Shiori stands up.

 “Welp, if we’re not doing anything. I say let’s turn in for the night. Give everybody a chance to get comfortable here before going to bed.” Shiori says. Hikigaya nods before standing too. Hisana looks excited as she rushes over to the couch and jumps onto Kitaro.

 “Okay! Goodnight, guys.” she says with a happy sigh as she lies on Kitaro’s chest. He looks irritated before grabbing her.

 “Oh, no you don’t. You’re sleeping... over there!” Kitaro says before tossing Hisana onto the other side of the couch. Hisana lands on her side as she looks over. Touma sweats as he gets up.

 “And you two aboutta piss me off if you play again without me.” Lucy says with a finger point. Touma sweats nervously.

 “sorry...” he says softly as Kitaro leans back.

 “Don’t get me wrong, you’re the only one here who gives me a challenge, but sometimes I like to play casually.” Kitaro says as Lucy vein pops.

 “I’ll give you something casual...” Lucy threatens while raising her fist. Ryuji smiles and grabs her shoulder softly, guiding them to their room. Kitaro smiles a bit genuinely at them as the friends all call it a night.

 “Goodnight, everyone!” Chizuru shouts happily.

 “Night.” Kitaro shouts back.

 “Gwoood niiiight!” Haru sings.

 “Sweet dreams!” Suiyoubi shouts happily.

 “Don’t let the bedbugs bite!” Alice says with a snicker before a biting sound is heard and she yelps. “Ouch! What was that??” Alice shouts.

 “Sorry, that was me.” Mormo says as the group giggles. Chizuru giggles as Touma closes the door behind them. Chizuru excitedly jumps onto the bed as she lies on her back, her limbs spread out as she sighs happily. Touma looks at her and blushes intensely as her chest jiggles in her tanktop.

 “Ah~ I love my life.” she says softly as Touma blushes and smiles at her. He then sweats nervously as he looks to the side.

 “So... d-did you want me on the floor?..” he asks quietly as Chizuru sits up with a shocked look. Before she says anything though, she blushes and smirks a little. She then opens her arms towards him as if inviting him in for a hug.

 “Come here, big boy. You’re gonna be holding me all~ night. I feel much safer that way.” Chizuru says with a flustered smile. Touma blushes more but slowly approaches. He crawls onto the bed and slowly approaches her as Chizuru wraps her arms around his neck. She then lies down as he gets under the blankets with her. Chizuru rolls over so her back is facing him, and she guides his arms around her tummy to hold her the way she wants. She smiles happily and wiggles a little, obviously satisfied. After a moment of silence in the dark room, Touma looks a little anxious before he speaks.

 “Chizuru... Do you-... Are we-” he begins to say as Chizuru’s eyes widen a little.

 “Don’t.. worry about that right now.. I.. haven’t really decided yet... but I promise you’ll know when I do..” Chizuru whispers back. Touma’s nerves seem to be calmed by her words as he nods. He gently tightens his grip on her as he relaxes.

 “Okay..” he whispers back. As his grip tightens, Chizuru blushes more then bites her lip a little. She gently begins pushing herself against him, rubbing him teasingly. Touma hums in timid pleasure as he presses his face into her hair.

"..but, since we're here…" Chizuru whispers softly before moving her hand down behind her. Touma suddenly opens his eyes wide as an intense blush runs across his face.

In Lucy and Ryuji’s room, Lucy looks at the bed with a smirk and her hands on her hips. Ryuji steps next to her as she looks at him over her shoulder.

 “What do you think?” she moves her hand below, and suddenly Ryuji blushes intensely. “A couple of teens out at a beach house in a soundproof room all alone..” Lucy says with a flirtatious tone. Ryuji slowly looks at her as she bites her lip back at him.

 In Haru and Sugawara’s room, they lay on their backs with blushes across their faces as they hold on to the blankets tightly. They listen as they hear the noises come through the connected wall and into their room. They, though muffled and quiet, still hear Lucy moan Ryuji’s name and the sounds their bed is making. Haru slowly looks at Sugawara as he does the same.

 “So... uh, nice weather in here.” Haru says awkwardly.

 “Is it weird that it's turning me on?” Sugawara asks openly. Haru quickly looks away, almost hiding under the blankets even more.

 “This is gonna be a long vacation...” Haru whispers. Sugawara suddenly flips over and places himself onto Haru’s lap. He smiles as he lowers himself to Haru’s ear.

 “I know something that’s pretty long...” he whispers as Haru gets super embarrassed.

"Suga!.. A-are you sure?.." Haru asks softly. Sugawara stares at him with a look of intense desire as he basically licks his lips.

"Uh huh… everyone else is probably doing it already… That's probably why Shiori wanted to go to bed so bad…" Sugawara says with a smirk before slowly lowering himself under the blankets as Haru throws his head back with a flustered look.

 In Shiori and Hikigaya’s room, Shiori takes her hair down and tosses it out as Hikigaya rummages through their bags.

 “Yeah, that’s when they started shooting.” Shiori says casually.

 “And here I thought I was the one getting shot at for no reason, haha!” Hikigaya laughs as he pulls out a blanket. Shiori looks surprised.

 “That’s my.. blanket.” She says softly. Hikigaya looks at her then smiles.

 “Yeah. I know you don’t mind sleeping anywhere, but I also know how comfy you are in your own blankets, so I brought this one. To help make you feel more at home.” Hikigaya says, smiling at her. Shiori stares at him for a moment before smiling quite bashfully.

"I really appreciate it…" she says in almost a whisper. Suddenly, her heart and soul skip. She blushes a deep blush as she takes a deep breath. She rubs her chest a bit as she almost looks uncomfortable.

 “Hey, is it hot in here?” She asks, still gently rubbing her chest. Hikigaya thinks for a moment before the same sensation rushes over him.

 “Yeah, actually.. Like the heat just kicked on or something...” he says as Shiori looks annoyed.

 “In the summer..?” she asks. Hikigaya stares at the bed for a second before speaking.

 “Shiori.. do you.. wanna cuddle?..” he asks softly. Shiori looks at the bed too before answering.

 “Yeah, I.. I really want to, with you...” she says as they both slowly get into bed. Their hands gently touch as they lean closer, causing them to pull back before getting closer and holding hands. They lean in closer as they both blush intensely.

 “Shiori...” Hikigaya says in a breathy, passionate voice.

 “Hikigaya... I need...” Shiori says back in the same way as their lips hover mere centimeters apart when Shiori suddenly shoves him off the bed with an embarrassed look. “I need the bed to myself tonight!” she shouts. Hikigaya hits the ground with a thump before looking up at her, shocked.

 “What?? Why??” he asks.

 “B-because! Uh, well, just to get settled in! Maybe tomorrow night I’ll let you join me. I’m just not comfortable sharing the bed with a boy? Anyway, goodnight!” Shiori quickly shouts before flipping over and throwing the blankets over her. Hikigaya stares confused for a moment before looking down and pressing his thumb to his lips with his eyes shining. He then rolls over, turns off the bedside lamp and lays down on the ground. In the dark, Shiori looks super flustered as she has one hand under the blankets between her legs and the other bopping her own forehead.

‘What was that?? Those thoughts were way too lewd! What if it actually happened?? Stupid, stupid, stupid..!’ she thinks as she sweats under the blanket.

Soon, the next morning comes as the group all rises and shines.

“Hey hey hey! Come on, get up, you guys, we’re burning daylight!” Chizuru shouts happily as she jumps onto the bed over Shiori. Shiori makes a grumpy face before rolling over.

 “This is supposed to be vacation…” she groans. Chizuru giggles before getting a surprised look.

 “Where’s Hiki?” She asks.

 “Down here.” His voice speaks. Chizuru and a sleepy Shiori look over the edge of the bed to see Hikigaya on the ground wrapped in a cocoon of blankets. He rolls over to look at them with a blank expression. “Shiori didn’t wanna share the bed.” Hikigaya says plainly.

 “Right, I think down there is a perfect place for you, dog.” Shiori says before stepping on his face as she gets off the bed and leaves the room.

 “Wait for me!” Chizuru says with a smile before stomping on Hikigaya’s stomach. Beaten up, Hikigaya just lays on the floor.

 “This is gonna be a long vacation…” Hikigaya grumbles.

 Most of the group convenes in the kitchen as Alice enthusiastically spoons cereal into her mouth.

 “Good thing we brought some snacks with cause I woke up starving!” Alice says with a mouthful of cereal. Kitaro sweats at her words.

 “Who’s we?..” he asks. Alice eats happily before she looks over and starts blushing while swallowing her cereal. 

 “Wow…” She looks at Shiori and Hikigaya in their pajamas and sleepy looks on their faces. They sparkle in her eyes. “Getting to see Fullsky and Watchdog’s ‘just woke up in the morning’ faces, I can’t believe it!” she yells happily with a blush across her face as Sugawara angrily shushes her about the topic again.

 “What’s on the agenda today?” Ryuji asks as Lucy smiles, leaning against the counter.

 “Ask Chizuru. She’s actually got a whole schedule thing going.” Lucy says as they both look at Chizuru.

 “That’s right! You guys better get ready, cause we got big plans today! First, we gotta order groceries for the house since we’ll be here for a week and might not want to go out for food every meal. Then after that, we have a nature walk and then we’ll hit the beach. Oh! And then after that we…” Chizuru trails off as the others sweat at her list of activities and plans.

 “That’s… quite a plan.” Sugawara says softly. Chizuru smiles excitedly, looking at her agenda before looking at him.

 “I know, right??” she asks happily.

 “Is everyone already up? It's still pretty early, if we order the groceries now, I might be able to make breakfast.” Suiyoubi offers.

 “Yeah, good luck with that. Fangirl here doesn’t like breakfast foods in the breakfast time.” Mormo says while pointing his stuffed thumb in Alice’s direction.

 “Not every day! You gotta keep the Universe on its toes! I eat snack for breakfast, dinner for lunch and lunch for dinner then no breakfast at all. Can’t let anyone know my next move!” Alice says proudly.

“Whatever you say, girlie.” Mormo crosses his arms.

 “Hisana and Kitaro are still sleeping over there.” Lucy says as Hisana happily sleeps on Kitaro’s tummy in between his legs as he snores as well spread out on the couch.

 “Is Touma still sleeping?” Hikigaya asks. Chizuru shakes her head with a smile.

 “Nuh uh. He’s just taking a shower.” She says happily. Lucy smirks as she turns to her.

 “You should go see if he needs help washing his back.” Lucy says with a mischievous look. Chizuru blushes and lightly scratches her cheek with one finger.

“Hehe… He’s probably out by now. I’m gonna go get him!” Chizuru says with a determined smile before rushing off. The friends watch her rush back to her room with smirks on their faces.

 “She’s down bad.” Lucy says.

 “Yep.” Haru says, smirking as well. Chizuru approaches their room before knocking on the door.

 “Touma! You in there?” She calls out before turning the handle to the door. She steps into their room, not seeing anyone before the door to the attached bathroom slides open. She stops suddenly as Touma steps out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his hips. He rubs his head with another towel before noticing Chizuru. She stares at him as an intense blush rushes across her face.

 “make me a mother…” she whispers as Touma blushes intensely with a shocked look on his face. He quickly rushes back into the bathroom and slams the door shut.

 “S-sorry!” he stutters. Chizuru still stands there with a dazed and flustered look on her face. 

 “W-we're planning breakfast.. whenever you come out..” Chizuru says before shivering a bit and turning around to leave the room. She stumbles slightly back to the living room where everybody else is. Kitaro wakes up a bit before smiling and rubbing Hisana’s head as she smiles at his touch.

 “Is Touma coming out soon?” Sugawara asks as Lucy and Shiori giggle a bit, noticing her look.

 “This is gonna be a long vacation…” Chizuru says, still blushing and dazed.
