CH. 108 - The Sidekick Arrives
Another night, a young couple walks down the street smiling together when suddenly, a guy in a hoodie walking by bumps into them, obviously intentionally. He keeps walking as the taller of the couple turns with an offended look.
“Yo, you blind? What was that?” they ask as the man turns around and smirks at them.
“Sorry, me and my boys were just passing through.” He says as a couple other guys approach the couple from behind. They look nervous as the man steps back towards them. “But since you obviously wanted our attention.” he says as the three men surround the couple. One goes to touch the shorter one of the couple as they pull their arm back.
“Don’t touch me!” they shout as the men smirk.
“Come on. You asked for this.” he says before someone else speaks up.
“You know, there are children in elementary school who understand consent better than you.” The figure says from behind them. The man turns around with an unamused look.
“I never went to school, so...” he responds.
“I can see that. Free education too expensive for you?” the familiar figure of Watchdog says to the man.
“No. Just annoying being filled with pussies like you.” he says before pulling out a gun and firing multiple shots at Watchdog. Without the slightest difficulty, Watchdog quickly disappears and reappears with blitzing speed, dodging each bullet before appearing up in the man’s face, backhanding the gun so hard it literally shatters into multiple pieces. The man is stunned as one of the others behind him is shocked.
“Oh shit! That’s Watchdog, bro! I’m fuckin’ outta here!” he shouts before rushing away. The couple quickly make their escape too as the other man hesitates, debating on running as the first man watches with wide, scared eyes.
“The fuck are you?!- Gah!” the man asks before Watchdog grabs him by the mouth and lifts him off the ground.
“Always watching, dog. That’s what I am.” Watchdog says as the man shakes and pisses himself as he’s held off the ground. Watchdog looks down before chuckling. “That’s enough for you.” He drops the man as he falls onto his butt with a thud. “Never forget, we’re still here.” he says ominously as the man looks up behind him, seeing a second figure standing on the lamppost behind Watchdog, looking down at him too. The man shakes as he scrambles to his feet and runs off screaming. The couple peek their heads out from around the corner and look at Watchdog before smiling and waving.
“Thank you, Watchdog!” they shout as he nods to them before turning to walk away but is suddenly stopped when someone pops up in front of him.
“Hey.” she says. Watchdog is startled a bit as Fullsky stands in front of him, standing upside down from the lamppost as if gravity just worked that way.
“Fullsky. What.. what’re you doing here?.” he asks softly. Fullsky smiles tauntingly as she begins walking along the lamppost towards the ground.
“Oh, you know. Patrolling and stuff. The usual.” she says as she steps onto the ground. She then steps closer to Watchdog and leans in with a smug look. “I was waiting up for my husband to do something nice together, but then, he just abandoned me without a word!” Fullsky says, playfully taunting. The couple giggle to themselves as they watch.
“Ooh, someone’s in trouble~” they say as Watchdog looks back at them. They stiffen up then quickly turn and walk away. “Right! Sorry.” they say as they leave. Watchdog stares at them for a moment.
“I...” he says as he looks back at Fullsky. “...can’t imagine why he’d do something that...” he says nervously. Fullsky stares at him with a smug look.
“Hmm.. I can’t either. Although...” she says while turning around. “I could think of a few reasons...” she says, looking over her shoulder at him with an alluring tone. “Maybe he went out to go see a badass, gorgeous vigilante lady?” she says as she’s suddenly floating behind him, whispering in his ear, sliding her finger across his chest. Watchdog, despite his apparent weakness for her, stands firm and doesn’t react much, trying to stay composed.
“That’s certainly... possible.” he says, not moving his head as he looks at her. She then swiftly slides around him and wraps her arms around his neck, pulling him in close.
“I knew you’d understand...” she says in almost a whisper as she leans in close, their lips barely apart. Watchdog goes to close the gap, but she suddenly turns into black smoke and phases through him. Watchdog is surprised as he turns around and sees her standing behind him with a smirk. “Not yet. We’ve still got work to do. Not like this city’s gonna protect itself with a snap.” she says while snapping her fingers, and right in that moment, an explosion goes off nearby in a village square behind her. Fullsky’s eyes widen as she turns around and sees the smoke pluming into the air. “Okay, I totally didn’t do that..” she says as Watchdog takes off.
“Come on!” he shouts as she dashes right behind him. Watchdog presses his finger to his ear, activating an earpiece. “Chief, you there? Come in!” he shouts.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m here! I just got the call, I’m heading to headquarters now to rally the troops.” Chief says into a hand radio as he quickly dresses himself in his doorway, throwing on a coat.
“What’s going on?” Watchdog asks.
“Escaped convict from Symphony.” Chief explains. Fullsky looks at Watchdog with a confused look.
“The supermax? That’s like two Districts over?” Fullsky says.
“I know. They must’ve escaped like a ghost cause they didn’t set off any alarm bells until just recently. I haven’t been informed about who it is yet. I’ll let you know once I know.” Chief says, rushing to his peace officer car.
“We’re already on site. I’m sure we’ll see soon enough.” Watchdog says as he and Fullsky land in the middle of the village square where a fire burns in one building and people run around screaming.
“There’s one more thing.” Chief says as he gets into his car. He looks worried. “Updistrict is trying this new department dedicated to capturing superpowered individuals. They’re not like us at the PD. They’ve got more equipment and training and do not discriminate. If they see you, they’ll take you in as if you’re a villain.” he warns. Watchdog and Fullsky look at each other, a hint of concern on their faces. “You’re on your own now. Be careful.” Chief says through the radio in their earpieces. Fullsky and Watchdog look at each other with concerned looks before exhaling.
“Still, people need our help.” Fullsky says. Watchdog nods.
“Right. You go high? See if you can spot anything.” Watchdog says as Fullsky nods and extends her wings before taking off into the sky. A loud boom is heard nearby, so Watchdog rushes over.
People run away as a loud crashing is heard, and an explosion erupts out of a nearby building. People in a bookstore across the street scream and cover their heads as the chaos occurs around them. One of the people then look up and see Fullsky dashing through the sky as their eyes widen. A sense of relief washes over them as they manage to smile in this situation.
“H-hey! I saw Fullsky! She’s here!” he shouts. Another person looks across the street as Watchdog slides to a halt, examining the situation. She lights up too as she shakily takes her phone out.
“And there’s Watchdog! They’re both here! We’re saved!” she shouts, trying to capture a video of them as another person shouts.
“The protectors of District 4! Go! Stop that villain!” they shout as the others cheer. Watchdog looks over and waves a salute their way as Fullsky smiles at them. Watchdog then looks back at the scene with a concerned look, trying to find the culprits.
“This isn’t good... What the Hell are these new officers thinking?..” he says under his breath. Suddenly, a person comes backflipping out of the fire and rubble of a building before sliding back on all fours. She growls as her claws slash through the stone ground.
“Who are these assholes?.. They weren’t here before...” she mutters as Watchdog’s eyes widen upon seeing her.
“Sahara...” he whispers. Fullsky is stunned in the air above them as Sahara’s animal ear twitches and she slowly looks over at him. Her eyes are wide and sharp as a seething rage builds within her.
“You.” she says before screaming and charging him. She charges with insane speed, appearing above Watchdog as he quickly lifts his arms and blocks the heavy slash she slams down onto him. The ground cracks underneath him as he falls to one knee, straining to push the attack back. “You piece of shit! You locked me up! You put me in a cage! I’ll tear you to shreds!” she screams before pulling back her second arm and slamming it down upon him as well, bursting a cloud of dust and smoke around. Fullsky is shocked as she sees this.
“Watchdog!” she shouts. As she does, a few individuals step out of the burning building slowly. They are armored people with no skin visible anywhere. Their glowing visors shine along with minor lights along their armor. They stand tall, well above the average human, as they look like powersuit wearing super soldiers. One of them looks up and sees Fullsky, and his visor analyzes her.
“Power user identified. Alias: Fullsky. Classification: Vigilante.” he says out loud as another stares at Watchdog as he throws Sahara back.
“Power user identified. Alias: Watchdog. Classification: Vigilante.” she says as the third one steps forward.
“Villain Sahara. Unsanctioned power users Fullsky and Watchdog. By the authority of Feast and the Unified Districts Panel, we order you to stand down and turn yourselves in.” he says commandingly.
“Go fuck yourselves! You’ll have your turn after I eviscerate him!” Sahara shouts as she stands ready for either one of them.
“We’re here to help you stop this villain.” Watchdog says in an attempt to reason with the armored individuals. The commanding one then steps towards him with an intense aura.
“I said, stand down.” he repeats. Watchdog sweats as Sahara smirks a bit.
“Whatever. I’ll hunt you later. You can deal with these dickheads, I’m out of here!” she says before dashing away. Fullsky notices and flies down at her.
“Oh, no you don’t- Gah!” she says before one of the sentinels quickly lifts her arm and fires something at Fullsky. This device opens up into a rope type object and wraps around her tightly before attacking her with some kind of frequency, looking like small electricity spurting out of it. She hits the ground with a shout as it shocks her.
“Fullsky!” Watchdog shouts. As Sahara goes to leave, suddenly, another sentinel quickly dashes in front of her and slams a staff across her face, slamming her back into the ground. Sahara hits the ground before flipping onto her feet, only for the sentinel to dash in front of her again and point the staff at her face. It then opens and fires a massive explosion directly at her. She flies back before tumbling across the ground, sliding on her side. Stunned by the sudden action, Watchdog looks around for a moment, debating what to do when the sentinel then dashes right up to him. He swings both his hands at Watchdog, so he lifts his hands to counter, leading to them both locking hands together, struggling to overpower the other.
“Surrender, power user.” he says when suddenly, a similar electrical looking frequency sparks around his hands, injecting directly into Watchdog. He shouts in pain as he falls to one knee, struggling to stay up.
Fullsky grunts as she then tears through the restraints, freeing herself. She huffs sharply as she looks over and sees Sahara getting up. Sahara grabs her head with an angry growl.
“I need to get out of here..” she says before quickly turning sharply and preparing to run, only for Fullsky to appear before her and slam a heavy kick across her face. She flies back, twists in the air, then slams her left claw into the ground as she slides back. She looks up sharply as Fullsky glares at her.
“Last time we met, you hurt Watchdog pretty bad. He still has the scars, you know.” Fullsky says intensely. Sahara smirks as she snarls back.
“Oh, my bad. I didn’t mean to leave you with damaged goods. How are you handling Amber’s death, anyway?” Sahara taunts as Fullsky’s eyes widen, staggered by the sudden jab. Suddenly, two sentinels charge them both, pulled back and ready to strike. They both lean back, avoiding the first strike as one of the sentinels continues the assault with two hand batons, striking repeatedly at Fullsky as she narrowly avoids each strike.
“Hang on.! We’re on the same side here.!” Fullsky says sharply between dodges.
“You are an unauthorized power user. You belong to no team, only criminals.” She says before swinging the baton sharply with a backhand that Fullsky blocks. Suddenly, the baton ignites with that same electrical frequency, shocking her as she shouts in pain. Watchdog sees this before growling and standing back up with a struggle. He then quickly brings his knee up and knees the sentinel holding onto him, making him let go. Watchdog then quickly grabs onto his breastplate and swings him around, tossing him into a nearby wall. He then slams his foot into the ground and ejects bone spikes jetting their way before hitting the sentinel with a blunt but strong strike, sending her flying back.
Fullsky holds onto her stomach for a moment before nodding to Watchdog as they both look at Sahara. She strikes at the other sentinel repeatedly as he either blocks or dodges before he slams a heavy blow into her stomach, causing her to keel over. He then slams his hand into her face, igniting an explosion again. Sahara goes flying back before flipping and kicking off the very air and dashing his way aggressively. She screams as she swipes down her claw at him, only to be met by an energy shield coming out of his arm. She strikes a few times against it before she swipes up and shoves the shield out of the way.
Exposed, she goes to strike again, but Watchdog rushes in and yanks the sentinel back, avoiding the slash. Sahara is shocked as Watchdog uppercuts her, sending blood flying through the air. He then quickly grabs onto her ankle and slams her down onto the ground. She coughs out blood and is stunned as Watchdog stares at her. Suddenly, he’s shocked from behind by the sentinel. He shouts in pain as Sahara quickly rabbitkicks him away from her, shoving the sentinel back and sending Watchdog tumbling into the building.
Sahara looks up from the ground as a large black ball attached to Fullsky’s tail swings down at her. She quickly rolls out of the way as it smashes into the ground. Fullsky charges and strikes at her a few times as Sahara narrowly dodges the hits before swinging against Fullsky’s side, pulling her arm across her body. As Fullsky blocks the side strike, she’s completely open to the major backhand Sahara lands across her face, sending her stumbling over. Sahara turns sharply to run, but she’s suddenly falling onto her face. She looks over and sees what she slipped on. Coming from her foot, Fullsky freezes the ground around Sahara, causing her to slip.
Sahara growls as Fullsky goes to charge her when a sentinel rockets over with his thrusters and body slams into Fullsky, sending her crashing into the building. Sahara is shocked but quickly gets up only for a metal wire lasso to wrap around her neck. It suddenly starts shocking her with the electrical frequency as he pulls her back. She struggles as he reels her in, but once close enough, she slams her head back into the helmet, causing the sentinel to stumble back. Sahara also falls to her knees, holding her head.
Amidst the chaos and destruction, people make their escape in fear as they try to get to safety. There is one person, though, who rushes around helping these people. As they run and scream, some confused or too shocked by the event, some people can’t figure out where to go.
“This way! Run down that road, it’ll lead you away from the action!” the woman says. She’s dressed in a rather odd yet somehow familiar way as the people look at her, then nod and go the way she points. The woman looks around as she pants lightly. “Okay, that’s most people over here.” She says to herself before turning and looking at the fighting unfolding before her eyes. Despite the intense situation, she smiles happily. But suddenly, someone screams as they fall over. The woman looks over and sees a pair of people on the ground trying to get up as a big sign begins to collapse above them. The woman then rushes into action and quickly tackles them out of the way.
“Look out!” she shouts as she saves them from the falling debris. They all look back at the sign with anxiety across their faces. “Oh, wow... that literally almost fell on us... I’m glad I was fast enough...” the woman says with a sweat as the people look at her before thanking her.
“Thank you. You saved our lives.” she says as the woman helps them up.
“Of course. That’s what we do.” the woman responds. The man then looks at her with a confused look.
“We? Who are you?..” he asks. The woman looks at him for a moment before a smug look spreads across her face. She snickers before she takes a deep breath in. As the others are fighting, they all suddenly stop for a moment when they hear a loud voice shout.
“I am here!” the woman shouts as they all look at her. She has her head lowered as she points a finger into the air before she swings her arm down and points at the others and lifts her head proudly. “Clearsky the vigilante is here to help!” Alice shouts with a big smile. Sahara looks confused and annoyed.
“the fuck?..” she mumbles as Fullsky and Watchdog look shocked.
“She didn’t...” Fullsky says. The sentinels then all turn their gaze to her, startling her a little as she sweats. Their visors flash as they analyze her.
“New designation recognized. Alias: Clearsky. Classification: Vigilante.” One sentinel says.
“Power user status: unclear. Further analyzation required.” Another says. The third turns to her and stomps her way.
“Unsanctioned vigilante Clearsky. By the authority of Feast and the Unified Districts Panel, you are hereby under arrest.” he states as Clearsky looks nervous and doesn ’t know what to do.
“Hey buddy! Eyes up here!” Watchdog shouts. The sentinel looks up only to see Watchdog in the air before he extends his arm and slams a heavy blow into the side of his head, slamming the sentinel into the ground. As the three parties collide, Fullsky rushes up to Clearsky with intense speed and grabs her by the shoulders, lifting her off the ground a bit.
“What the Hell are you doing here, Clearsky??.” Fullsky says through gritted teeth. Clearsky answers nervously.
“I’m your sidekick! I’ve gotta be ready to help!.. And I may have been stalking you both but needed a minute to get changed...” she admits. Fullsky exhales as she looks at Clearsky with serious eyes.
“This isn’t a game. This is real life, with real villains, with real danger. You don’t have powers like us. You could get seriously hurt! You have to-”
Before Fullsky could finish, she’s suddenly shocked by the electrical frequency in the back, screaming in pain. Clearsky gets shocked too for just a moment before Fullsky drops her, causing Clearsky to fall to the ground on her butt. Watchdog looks over before extending his leg around and kicking the sentinel into a building. As he’s facing away, Sahara slashes along his back, causing him to wince in pain. He then swings his fist back sharply, slamming it into her face, making her spit out blood, before he grabs her by the head. Before he can do anything else, another sentinel comes up and starts shocking both of them with his batons. Clearsky groans a little before looking at Fullsky on her knees. Fullsky looks at her with a serious look.
“You have to run...” she says. Clearsky stares at her for a moment before she nods with a determined look. She gets up and turns to run as Sahara looks at her with one eye open.
“I can use this...” she says before growling then shouting out as orange burning energy jets from her just like before. Watchdog and the sentinel fly back as Sahara quickly deactivates the technique with a pained look and a huff. She then looks at Clearsky and dashes right for her. She appears in front of Clearsky, stopping her in shock. “Come ‘ere!” Sahara shouts as she slashes down at her. Clearsky jumps back, but the impact of the strike causes her to go flying back and tumble across the ground.
Sahara looks thrilled before suddenly being slammed into the ground by an intense force. Gravity weighs heavily on her as it crushes her in a perfect circle around her. Fullsky holds her hand out in front of her with an open palm facing her ground for a moment with a sharp look before swiping her hand back, clenching her fist. This causes Sahara to come flying her way as Fullsky sidesteps and keeps looking forward, Sahara flying past her with a snap. Sahara flies through the air before slamming into a sentinel, where he quickly latches onto her with his staff, holding her tightly and activating the electrical frequency, shocking her. Clearsky slowly pushes herself up with her hands as she groans with a pained look.
“Okay.. ow... that really hurt...” she groans. Sahara struggles in the sentinel’s grasp as she begins getting desperate.
‘I can’t keep doing this... I have to get the fuck outta here!..’ she thinks as her eyes convey that desperation. She looks around before shouting and yanking her arm away. She extends her claws much larger than before and swings with great effort. This sends a flying slash heading straight for Clearsky. She looks up in shock, unable to do anything, as Fullsky looks at her.
Before she can act, though, a sentinel grabs her and fires a blast in her face. In that same instant, right as the slash gets too close to Clearsky, Watchdog jumps in the way and takes the full force of the slash across his chest. He goes flying back from the force as Clearsky covers her head and Watchdog tumbles across the ground behind her. Taking this chance, Sahara quickly slams her elbow into the sentinel’s head, weakening his grip, allowing her to break free and turn around to grab him and take him down. Clearsky looks at Watchdog in shock before she hears a clicking sound behind her. She snaps her head around and sees another sentinel aiming her arm at her.
“You’re under arrest.” She says before firing wired spikes at her. Fullsky sees this and acts quickly, grabbing the sentinel on her, then flashing him with a sudden bright light from her palms before kicking him away. She then dashes over and leaps in the way of the wired spikes as they stab into Fullsky’s arm. Suddenly, the electrical frequency shocks her intensely as she screams and falls to one knee. Watchdog sits up with a pained look as he takes in the scene before him.
Sahara quickly dodges a swing from the baton wielding sentinel before she kicks his face in the helmet. Stunned, she then grabs his arm and shoves her claws deep into his upper arm, finally piercing the armor. She swipes them back before kicking out his leg to one knee then, grabbing him by the neck, she picks him up and slams him down with a shout. She slams her claws into his chest a couple times before she pulls her arm back and with an intense look and scream, she strikes her claw directly into the chest of the sentinel, crushing the chest piece and running him through. Sahara pulls her hand out of his chest, a mix of blood and armor fluids covering it, as she pants with an intense look. She then turns her head to look at Watchdog before smirking. She waves at him a bit before turning to run.
Watchdog wants to chase, but he also sees the sentinel approach Fullsky and Clearsky. He hesitates for a moment before grunting loudly in frustration and getting to his feet. He charges forward and slams his fist into the stomach of the sentinel with extreme force. She keels forward before he follows up with an intense punch across her helmet. He then grabs her by the neck and, with a shout, slams her into the ground hard. The sentinel immediately tries to get up, but the assault doesn’t stop as Watchdog slams his fist into her helmet. He grunts and growls as he slams his fists repeatedly into the helmet before, with one final loud swing, he completely shatters the helmet, leaving the woman bleeding and unconscious on the ground. Watchdog pants and huffs as he almost stumbles back, staring at her. He then turns his attention towards Fullsky and Clearsky to make sure they’re okay.
“You two alright?” he asks, bloody and bruised. Fullsky pulls the wired spikes from her arm with an annoyed look before they both stand up.
“Yeah. Thank you.” she says softly. Watchdog nods before turning back around where Sahara once was but, to no one’s surprise, she’s long gone. Watchdog glares as he huffs in disappointment. The third sentinel steps up and begins scanning the area.
“Unit 07. Status: Flatlined. Unit 05. Status: inoperable. Escaped convict. Status: undetectible. Vigilantes Fullsky, Watchdog, Clearsky. Status: Unaffected. Chance of success if pursued... Zero.” the sentinel says as he watches the three vigilantes turn and face him with intense looks. He then looks down as he lifts his arm and presses a button. “Returning to base.” he says as suddenly, grey portals open up around the sentinels. On the ground, they phase through before the portals shut. The third then steps into the portal while maintaining his gaze at the vigilantes. “Mission failure. But the data collected will be very beneficial. We will not fail again.” he says before the portal shuts behind him. Fullsky and Watchdog stare as they leave before looking at each other with slight concern. It doesn’t last long though before they turn and look at Clearsky with soft looks.
“You okay, hun?” Fullsky asks softly. Clearsky perks up as if snapping out of a disassociation, and looks at them.
“Huh? Oh, yeah. I’m okay. Nothing a hero isn’t used to! Haha!” Clearsky says with a smile. They smile at her back before suddenly Watchdog grabs her by her shirt and lifts her close to him.
“Then what were you thinking?!” he shouts as he shakes her.
“You could have gotten killed! You do not run into an active battle without any powers or at least a plan!” Fullsky shouts at her as Alice's eyes swirl when Watchdog stops shaking her.
“gyuh... I know... I sorry...” she says as Fullsky huffs. Behind them, sirens of emergency services start blaring and making their way over.
“Alright. Let’s go before more officers try to arrest up..” she says as Watchdog picks up Clearsky in his arms. She blushes as he holds her close before they dash off together, disappearing into the night.
Not long later, at their abandoned stage area, Fullsky, Watchdog and Clearsky all land as he gently puts her down. Clearsky looks woozy as she struggles to stand.
“Woah... and you guys can move that fast all the time?..” she asks, shaking her head out to focus. Shiori takes her hood and mask off as Hikigaya does the same. They then glare at her before they both stand before her with their hands on their hips.
“Okay. Let me ask again...” Shiori begins as she clears her throat.
“What were you thinking?!” Both she and Hikigaya shout at the same time. Alice falls back from the shout before sitting up.
“I know! I know, I’m really sorry! I didn’t mean to make things difficult for you..” Alice says.
“It’s not about being difficult, Alice. Protecting people is what we do. We’re just... we were worried about you.” Hikigaya says softly. Alice looks at him as Shiori starts speaking.
“We know you just want to help, but what we want above all else is you safe. Without powers, you could seriously get hurt in ways you can’t recover from. What are we supposed to do if that happens?” she asks as Alice looks down with a disappointed look.
“I just... wanted to be your sidekick...” she says quietly. They both crouch down and look at her softly.
“Alice, you’re more than just our sidekick. You’re our friend.” Hikigaya says.
“Honestly, a little more than that sometimes...” Shiori says with a blush as Alice giggles.
“I wish...” she says. Shiori smiles at her.
“Maybe one day, if things are different, we’ll let you come out on patrol with us. Help us with the more mundane things.” Shiori says. Alice smiles a little before speaking.
“I understand.. Honestly though, it was way scarier than I thought it was gonna be.. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I think I’m okay with leaving the major villains to you guys...” Alice says with an awkward smile. They then all stand up as Alice smirks a little. “Anyway, did you guys check out my outfit? It’s my Clearsky hero suit!” Alice says proudly, showing off the rather clunky and amateurish design. Shiori and Hikigaya stare at her for a moment before getting judgemental looks about her outfit. Alice picks up on their body language and gets embarrassed. “It’s only a first draft, okay??” she shouts with a sweat. Alice pouts cutely as she holds onto her cape. “I’ll have Suiyoubi help me with the next draft.” Alice says as she huffs and turns away. The two giggle for a moment before Shiori’s look turns to one of concern.
“Hikigaya... As concerning as those new officers are, I’m more worried that Sahara got out... You think things will be okay?” Shiori asks softly. Hikigaya looks at her before pulling her in gently for a comforting hug.
“They will. I beat her before and I’m much stronger now. I’ll just do it again! Haha!” he says as he pulls back a little and playfully flexes his arm. Shiori blushes and nods with a soft smile when Alice starts cutely squeezing herself between the two.
“Hey hey, if you’re talking about hero stuff, then I should know too since I’m your sidekick.” Alice says as she looks up at the two with a big smile. The two get irritated as Shiori starts tugging at her cheek and Hikigaya starts squeezing her head firmly.
“No, you’re a hostage taken by two dangerous criminals..” Shiori growls. Alice blushes as she looks at them.
“That doesn’t sound so bad...” she says. The two blush despite their frustration as Hikigaya shoves her head down.
“Shut it. We’re taking you home.” he says.
“Nyoooo! Can I spend the night with you two?? Pweaseee?” Alice begs as the night goes on and comes to an end.
